operation: cider & fire

We’re bringing cider to The Food Lab in a whole new way! In this hands-on collaboration, we’ll be cooking with Cider Corps’ craft hard ciders, using their natural sweetness and acidity to build dishes that are bold, balanced, and unexpectedly savory. From soups to ceviche, cider adds depth, brightness, and just the right touch of sweetness without overpowering the plate. Along the way, you’ll taste and learn how each cider works in the dish and why it pairs so well with a wide range of ingredients.

Cider Corps will be on-site pouring samples and curated pairings, guiding guests through how each cider enhances the dish and why certain styles shine in the kitchen. It’s part cooking class, part cider tasting, and 100% hands-on fun.

Liability Waiver

Although Cider Corps will have beer available at class, all classes are BYOB so please feel free to bring a drink of your choice! Water and Soda will be provided.

Liability waivers must be completed and returned no later than the day prior to your cooking experience. Liability waivers are accessible through the link on this page.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the class date can request to be placed in a different class, or receive a refund minus a 5% processing fee.  NO CREDITS OR REFUNDS will be issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of the class date. You may transfer your seat to someone else if you must cancel within 7 days of class.

We understand life happens and unexpected events occur. However please understand that Chef Leo’s Food Lab is a small business with only 8-10 guests attending each class. In the days leading up to your class, we have made the necessary purchases and arrangements to ensure the best experience possible for everyone. DAY OF cancellations affects the staff and customers in that class. While we do our best to get seats filled, we are not responsible for last minute illnesses and work related conflicts.

We reserve the right to cancel class due to low attendance. If class is cancelled due to attendance, you will receive the option of a full refund or a spot in a future class of your choice as long as that class is not full.
